Latest Covid entry requirement summary:

  • All travellers are now required to show a negative Covid-19 PCR certificate not older than 96 hours before departure to Tanzania.
  • An online health form needs to be filled out by the traveller before travelling via this link: https://afyamsafiri.moh.go.tz/

Upon arrival, travellers from SPECIFIC DESTINATIONS will be subjected to a rapid Covid-19 test. The cost of this test is 10 USD and should be paid online while filling in the online health form. If it is not possible to pay online you can pay on arrival in cash. It is recommended to pay online to prevent any unnecessary delays.

List of countries for mandatory Covid-19 rapid antigen test upon arrival at airports, ports and ground crossing of the United Republic of Tanzania:

  1. The United States of America
  2. The Republic of India
  3. The Republic of South Africa
  4. The Republic of Uganda
  5. The Republic of Rwanda
  6. The French Republic
  7. Democratic Republic of Congo
  8. The Republic of Egypt
  9. The Republic of Malawi
  10. The United Kingdom

Children aged 5 years and below, travellers in transit and aircraft crew are exempted from both RT-PCR certificate and COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test.
